Why Marine Canvas?
My name is Rebecca and I've been a sailor for years now. After purchasing a new (to us) sailboat in 2020, we began looking for someone to rework our canvas. It was impossible to find someone to replace our sail cover and bimini in a reasonable time frame at a reasonable cost. So, I sewed it myself. I also discovered that I really enjoyed making canvas for our boat, jerry can covers, hatch covers, new cushions, and more.
Talking with other boaters, I realized that everyone had a similar experience. There just aren't enough places to meet the demand for marine canvas work that today's growing number of boaters need.
We opened Off Season Canvas July 1, 2022 and have recieved so much support from Brunswick and the boating community. We're continuing to learn and grow, so we can better serve our local boaters and the many cruisers that come through the area.
