Repairs

Yes, we take in some repair work, including zipper and glass replacements. Take a picture of your canvas while it is installed on your boat and a close up photo of the area to be repaired and drop us an email. We can assess what's needed, ask any questions, and determine what it will take to get your stuff fixed. Not all canvas can be patched or restitched. Age and condition will be assessed and we reserve the right to refuse any repair work. 

Every effort will be made to provide an accurate estimate of the time needed to complete a repair. However, sometimes the work involved in repairing canvas is not evident until the job is started. In the event the time required grossly exceeds the estimated time, you will be charged for the time the repair actually takes.

While we do our best to restore function with aesthetics in mind, no guarantees can be made with repairs, as no repair will return your item to its original condition.

Reinstallation

Due to the tendency of fabrics to stretch and shrink over time and in different temperatures, we cannot guarantee the fit of your canvas after alterations or repairs are made. With any repair, like new glass, stiff canvas, tightened seams, and fresh zippers it is expected that adjustments may be needed. Please fit test your canvas as soon as possible after any change. We can make adjustments if they are needed. Remember, warm temperatures tend to be helpful when installing any clear vinyl.

Please Note:

There is a minimum fee of $50 for any repair or alteration work.

Only CLEAN canvas can be placed in the machines. 

Please, bring in any canvas CLEAN to avoid additional charges for time spent cleaning your canvas. This includes clean glass. Salt and debris on your old glass can scratch and damage new glass.

We reserve the right to refuse any repair, alteration, or glass replacement for any reason.

A fee of 3% will be added for electronic and card transactions.
