Would you rather do it yourself?  

We get it.  That's how we got started. 

We also know that there's just not enough space or a good place to work on a boat. Sometimes, there's not enough space in the house. If you need room to work, or even a machine to use, join our MakerSpace. We have large tables to spread out your project, cutting tools, quality machines, and even room to store your projects while you work on them. These are just some of the advantages to membership. You can join for a day, a week, a month or all season long!

2025 Fee Schedule and what's included:

Weekday Evening/One Day Use: $40/4 Hours

This membership is best for those with a small project or repair that just need the use of a SailRite LSZ machine. We have two, one with a WorkerBee and one on a servo with a Monster Wheel. The machine will be set out and ready to use. When we finish for the day, you get the space, the tools, and the time, as we leave you with it. No consultation is included.

There is a $10 Thread (Poly or PTFE) and Needle Fee unless you provide your own consumables. 

Joiner's Fee: $50

This fee is required for all memberships and allows us 30 minutes to get you oriented to the space and set up in the access systems. We hope to get you comfortable in our shop and started on your goals. 

Week Long Membership: $150

This membership includes one week or 7 days of access to the space. That's 4 evenings and 3 days over a weekend (Fri-Sun). A  $50 Joiner's Fee is required. This membership includes a 30 minute orientation to the space, access codes, and a little help getting started in addition to everything the Weekday Evening/ One Day Use includes. You may also store your project here, so no carting stuff back and forth!

There is a $10/week Thread (Poly or PTFE) and Needle Fee unless you provide your own consumables.

Month Long Membership: $450

This membership is for one calendar month, including 4 weekends. This membership includes everything the Week Long Membership includes, but you have plenty of time to work on your bigger projects. The $50 Joiner's Fee is required. 

There is a $10/week Thread (Poly or PTFE) and Needle Fee unless you provide your own consumables.

Seasonal Membership: $2000

Planning a big project? The seasonal membership is for you! This membership includes everything above, but runs 6 calendar months. We call it Off Season Canvas for a reason. 

Threads (poly or PTFE) and needles (10pk) available for purchase.

Consultation Fee for Members: $50/hour

If you get stuck on a big project or just need a little help, we can do that. As well, sometimes things just take two sets of hands. Please check with us about scheduling additional consultation time.
